What are they made of?
Markers are commonly made using a hollow plastic cylinder that contains a colored liquid along with a tip that can be of various different materials.This liquid, commonly known as ink, is a mixture of water, solvent, preservation, and additives that give them their color. the tip can be made of felt, fiber, or other materials and may be of varying shapes.
Markers, in general, have many varieties, each made by different inventors. The earliest inventors, though, came as a surprise. The Egyptians used a mixture of fine soot and vegetable gum to paint with, the Chinese made red markers from mercury and black from iron sulfur mixed with sumac tree sap, and the name marker was first found in Russia. Still, there are more inventors of various other versions that have not been listed.
Markers are amazing many people use markers everyday. Markers are also very very popular and there are so many brands to choose from. Markers used to be harder to make but like many things with time people make things better, there are more faster ways to make markers now verses then. Markers used to not have as many colors, now there are so many colors.
Today markers are used greatly. People really do love them. From day to day uses they are used especially in schools children of all ages and even adults enjoy markers, they are colorful and add so much more character to any and every page.
